"Someone Somewhere" S02E07 FINAL FRENCH HDTV follows the journey of Sam, an introverted individual living in the remote parts of Kansas. Despite struggling to socialize with others, Sam finds solace in music, which is her greatest passion. Throughout the episode, we see Sam struggling to open up to those around her, as they try to support her in their own ways. Though the plotline is not new, this series handles heavy themes such as social isolation, mental health and the struggle to find a place in the world, with great sincerity and depth. The finale leaves its audience feeling satisfied, as they watch Sam come out of her shell and finally begin to emerge from her cocoon of fear and self-doubt. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the show and I feel it provides a great piece of escapism, with subtle messages that the audience can relate to and take away with them.
